This month check out some classics by director Ernst Lubitsch — the man Mary Pickford brought to Hollywood — with screenings at the New Beverly Cinema in Hollywood and the Aero Theater in Santa Monica. The Smiling Lieutenant (1931) screens on March 29th and 30th at the New Beverly,Ninotchka (1939) is on March 28th at the Aero, and on March 29th the Aero will show a double feature of The Shop Around the Corner (1940) and The Merry Widow (1934).
