The Mary Pickford Foundation is creating an initial package of thirteen “Biograph” short films with original contemporary scores composed by young artists. Production on a documentary film about the scoring of these 100-year-old Pickford films will be completed in 2015.
The Foundation represents Mary Pickford’s legacy and is committed to protecting her films. We house an extensive library, which includes some of the finest elements on Pickford shorts and features worldwide. It is our mission to not only preserve her films but to bring a fresh energy to them with new music, making Mary Pickford relevant to a modern audience.
